How to Get to Niagara Falls: Routes and Border Crossings

Quick answerChoose the Canadian or US side of Niagara Falls before planning transport. Niagara Falls State Park is in New York. Rainbow Bridge links the two tourist areas and accepts pedestrians as well as passenger vehicles.

Arriving at Niagara Falls State Park

The park lists 15 Goat Island Loop Road, Niagara Falls, New York 14303 for navigation. Check its official directions and parking map before arrival. Allow extra time on busy weekends because the parking lots can fill.

Crossing between Canada and the United States

Rainbow Bridge is an option for walking or driving between the two sides. A crossing is an international border procedure, not simply a scenic walk. Check entry requirements for your nationality and the current bridge information before including both countries in your itinerary.
